About
Hi there, my name is Matt and apparently you’ve stumbled across my corner of the Interweb, which will henceforth be referred to as “my blog”. In times past I avoided having a blog, even vilifying the very word as a horrible neologism. However, writing and maintaining your own web content management software requires a level of time and patience which I can no longer spare, so I’ve put my Web2.0-rage behind me and have embraced WordPress as the publisher of my online voice. Pretty snazzy, no? Anyway, welcome to you, fair denizen of the ‘net! I hope you enjoy your stay!
About me
I was born Matthew Michael Britt on 1987-04-28, though you may call me Matt. I was trained as an Electrical Engineer at the Georgia Institute of Technology. My tenure there included activities of varying interest, some of which required the donning of a bunny suit (photo evidence). Currently I help design microchips for cell phones at a company called RF Micro Devices. I enjoy working with analog electronics and tinkering with forgotten pieces of classical (outdated) technology. Will knowledge of any of this trivia likely effect a profound change in your life? Probably not.
