A learning experience
Guess what I did this weekend? For a hint, take a look at the picture immediately after the cut.
Yup, I completed the MSF Basic Rider Course! It was fun, and you gain a lot of valuable information and skills. I highly recommend it for anyone who rides or wants to ride a motorcycle. Today I went the the DMV (ugh) and got the class M endorsement on my license, so now I’m official! They even updated the picture on my license, which was taken when I was fifteen years old. Now if only I had a bike…
I actually have a lot more to talk about, between my new apartment, moving, work I’ve done on my car, etc. Unfortunately this move is keeping me extremely busy at the moment, so I’ll have to write about it another time. Suffice to say I’m moving into my apartment this Friday and starting my job on Monday. More information will follow once I’m settled… As a door prize, I’ve written the first of two pages on the GT Theremin’s circuit details. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll probably wonder what the heck I was thinking when I designed this contraption. Read on to shed light on exactly that.
Stay tuned!

mattb,
kudos for completing the MSF rider course. my father highly recommends this course as well, and himself retakes it i believe every 2 years or so. also, i want to pat myself on the back for finding your blog. all it took was for someone to mention you had one, and voila! here i am. hopefully things will go swimmingly with the internship. sorry to pop out of nowhere to entice you to give ubuntu support, but, you know how things go…
looking forward to your updates…

Wow, you look like an astronaut. Great stuff! Be safe on that there motorized bicycular propulsion device.
Congratulations on completion of the course! Now as one who has been an avid lover and rider of these dual wheeled wonders wish to remind you of an age old saying:
There are two types of bikers, those who have been down and those who are going down!
I can attest to the fact that many unforeseen things can happen while enjoying the thrill and freedom of biking. For instance, one time as I reached the crest of a hill I suddenly found myself face-to-face with a blackbird, which hit the shield of my full-face helmet head on. The impact was like hitting a brick!
Well, I do wish you much luck and may you experience innumerable hours of glee enjoying the freedom on the open road.
